- Why did you want to become a teacher?
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was five years old and I always loved science. So I combined the two.
- Where did you go to school?
I went to Bridgewater State University, I went to Witman Hanson for high school
- Do you have any pets?
I have a dog and a cat. The dog is a rescue do I don’t know the breed, and I have a tabby cat. The dog is Paisley and my cat is Tillie.
- Did you play any sports or apart of any clubs?
I was a part of the band in high school, and I played Violin.
- What do you like to do on the weekends?
I work on saturday nights, I work at the 99. I like to be outside in nature, and I love to take walks and explore things and I like to find plants or animals in my backyard.
- Favorite Subject in School?
Science and Music were my two favorite subjects, I always liked music because I can be creative and play different instruments. I love to discover and explore new things, and I love plants and animals so that is why I love science.
- What is something that you are really passionate about?
The environment, I don’t really know where it comes from but I really care about other plants and organisms. I want the best for their lives and livelihood of their species
- What would your dream job be?
My dream job is being a science teacher, nothing crazy because you can explore but also give back knowledge to people and give them the same spark which is why I love science.
- What is the song that you listen to in the car?
I am a huge fan of Noah Kahan and his music. I love indie pop as a whole because it is so different from traditional music.
- Taylor Swift: Overrated or the best thing ever?
I like Taylor Swift, she was in my Spotify Wrapped, but she is not the best singer ever.
- You grew up in Massachusetts, what is one place that not enough people know about?
I think that the Massachusetts beaches are really nice, and I feel like I grew up in an average small town. The first Chocolate Chip cookie was made in Whitman.
- Do you have one piece of advice for high school students that they don’t know enough?
Don’t get caught up in the drama, because 5 years from now it’s not going to matter. Don’t get caught up in the crowd or what everyone else thinks. It’s okay to be different, and people will not remember these things even if they seem like the end of the world right now.
Ms. Hajnasr Interview

- What do you teach?
9th Grade world history and 11/12th grade sociology
- Why did you want to become a teacher?
Because my brother was someone in school who didn’t do well academically and didn’t do well within administration, so this made me care more about student who have the potential to grow and succeed
- Where did you go to school?
Emmanuel College, and I was also in the old PSHS and the New building. I loved the old building and the uniqueness but there was so much new technology from the new building, I look back on myself as a graduate from the old plymouth south because I started from that
- Do you have any Pets at home?
Yes, I have a maltipoo named Penny and she is my purse dog
- Did you play any sports or were you part of any clubs in high school?
I did, I played soccer for all 4 years and track in the winter and springs. I was also in SAAD junior and senior year and secretary for student council senior year
- What do you like to do on the weekends/Outside of teaching?
I love to go to the city, and try new restaurants and visit old friends who live in the city
- What was your favorite subject in school?
In high school was clearly history
- What is something that you are really passionate about?
I am always trying to better myself through self improvement and dedication
- What would your dream job be?
I would love to be in the FBI, but I don’t think I could do it

The song that I listen to the most is Fall in Love by Bailey Zimmerman
- You grew up in Plymouth, what is one place that not enough people know about?
The beach off of Center Hill road, and there’s a small hiking trail to a small beach off of Ellyville Beach
- Do you have any advice that High School students don’t often hear?
High school students need to know that you will remember this time for the rest of your life, and you should go to teachers and get involved with clubs and activities because that’s the part of high school that you will remember.
Mrs. Lombardo Interview
- What is your name?
Clair Lombardo
- What subject do you teach?
9th Grade Biology and Conceptual Physics
- Why did you become a teacher?
I fell into teaching, I was encouraged to teach a class at my lab and I found out that I like to teach much better than working in a lab, so I went back to school to get my masters in education.
- Where did you go to school?
My Undergrad is Indiana, Masters is Lesley University in MA
- Do you have any pets?
Black Lab named Wilber, almost 3
- Do you have any hobbies or play any sports?
I played a lot of sports. In HS I played Golf, Volleyball, Basketball and Softball and I got a scholarship to Indiana for Golf. I ruptured my appendix freshman year, so I couldn’t play, couldn’t maintain it after Sophomore year.
- Did you do any clubs?
I was in yearbook, foreign language club as I know German, and Model U.N. where we won the state tournament.
- What do you like to do when you aren’t teaching?
Every Sunday I’m at the Blueberry Muffin for breakfast.
- What was your strongest subject in school?
Math, and Science, as I had a math minor for college.
- What are you really passionate about?
Education, it’s free to learn things, so everyone should do it.
- What is your dream job?
I would love to be a dog trainer

I was at Rising Tide for two years, and Sacred Heart for eight years
- What was your first job
I detasseled corn at 13
- Any Fun Midwestern Stories?
I’ve Lived through about a dozen tornados
- What’s the biggest difference from Indiana to Massachusetts
The ocean, I never saw the ocean until I was 6-7 years old, couldn’t imagine a body of water back then. The mountains are also so close to the ocean as well, only 2 hours as well. In Indiana when the sun is out it’s warm in winter, while in Massachusetts it was freezing the first time I was here, which was quite surprising. And the sun setting at 4 in the wintertime in Massachusetts was very shocking.
- Any advice you have that students do not often hear?
You will be where you’re supposed to be, especially for college because everyone is always stressed about where they are going to end up or if they are going to be accepted in a certain school.
